Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or extra soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up (about 5 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
- Pour in the sauce and toss everything to coat. If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp water and stir in.
- Cook for another 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Notes
- Use frozen broccoli in a pinch — just add it frozen and cook a couple minutes longer.
- Serve over cauliflower rice for a complete low-carb meal.
- Swap ground beef for ground turkey if preferred.
